VIDU offsets its footprint by collecting the same amount of plastic that generates.
VIDU is the first brand in the dental sector to offer clinics a Plastic Neutral Certified alternative, that is, dental products with a plastic footprint = zero.
We use as little plastic as possible in our products and packaging, and each month we collect the same amount of plastic that we generate thanks to our collaboration with rePurpose, the leading international organization for action against plastic.
13.266 KG GENERATED = 13.266 KG COLLECTED
*From the start of VIDU in May 2021 until December 2023, 8.680 kg. collected and certified by The Gravity Wave.
*Since January 2024, 4.586 kg. collected and certified by rePurpose.
Is it possible to use fewer plastic products and packaging in the dental sector?
In some products it is possible and VIDU works to always offer the most responsible solution. But in many of the products used in dental clinics, for hygienic and health reasons, we cannot give up the use of plastic. Furthermore, they are not easily recyclable as they are considered contaminated material due to potential biological risk.

What is the plastic footprint of VIDU products?
All VIDU products have the “Plastic Neutral · Certified” seal and offset your plastic footprint. But exactly how much plastic are we talking about?
